Raegan can stand for several seconds on her own, and she can (quickly) climb the entire set of of stairs at our house. She started out gesturing the things of interest, but today she used her index finger to point! She babbles all of the time, making lots of different sounds (her favorite sound is da-da-da). She just learned to sign "bird" (index finger to thumb) and she is so proud that she does it constantly now. She signs milk when she is hungry and signs dog when she sees or hears a dog. She is learning to sign "all done" and will do it mostly when I say "all done." She can imitate simple actions and can turn the pages of her books! She is now eating three meals a day (although she mostly still prefers milk!). As you will see in the picture below, one of her favorite foods is rice! She also LOVES apples - I wonder if its because I ate so many when I was pregnant. ha! She is starting to sleep longer through the night (8 glorious hours straight) on most nights. Even though it has been rainy and cold here the past few weeks and we can't go for walks, she is content to just sit outside on the front porch and watch the wind rustle the trees.
We are planning a puppy paw-ty for her 1st birthday. We're doing it up big! Jasen is calling it birthday-palooza. :) Here are a couple of youtube videos and pictures from the last week or so! My favorite is the last picture!
