Those are the words going through my mind. :) So, I am trying to not let myself ruminate on thoughts that my due date is fast approaching and there are minimal signs that this baby is joining the world anytime soon. At the last appointment on Saturday, April 2, Alison said she would be very surprised if the baby came in the next week. She told me to mentally prepare to go past my due date. So.....I have been mentally preparing. Which mostly looks like me being sunny and cheery about it until about 7:00 in the evening, at which point I turn to Jasen and say, "I'm done....this baby needs to come!" To which Jasen then responds by giving me a pep talk and telling me how great I'm doing (bless his heart).
This is the third week off work, and I really can't believe how fast it has gone. The time NEVER goes this fast when I'm working. Which leads me to think this is part of the reason humans must have a job....so life doesn't feel like it goes by in a blink. I have been passing the time by reading books in the backyard with Roxy at my feet (also known as, "working on my tan"....), running some errands here and there, and still trying to finish that photo tree for the baby's room. I think I will finish that today and post a pic of the finished product!
Jasen had desperately wanted the baby to wait to arrive after the 8th of April because he wants his time off to go past the 4th of July.....looks like he will have his wish!!!
P.S.- It is a good thing we don't know the gender of the baby, or I would have bought zillions of baby clothes with all of this free time I have. :)

Hang in there, still betting on the full moon to bring that baby out!
Tom and Becky
Thanks! Yes, we will see about the full moon. Interesting things is that the midwife said most babies are born on a quiet moon (aka, new moon) which I thought was interesting. New moon is not until the end of April! Ah! We shall see ;)
There's no way that bun can stay in that oven til the end of April! Come on baby...
