Lucky number 13

Raegan turned 13 months! Some of you may be wondering how long I will blog about her growing another month old....I think until she is 2 years old. She is still changing so much, so quickly! Right after her 1st birthday, she started walking! After only about 2 weeks, she was pretty stable on her feet. Now she gets around everywhere! Into everything! I absolutely love that she is walking, and will happily deal with the "getting into everything" because seeing her walk is so much fun. Plus, it is a lot easier than carrying her around all of the time. I like that I can tell her we're going to go for a ride in the car, and she can walk out to the car with me. If she needs to go up or down a step, she reaches out for a hand. So cute to hold this little chubby hand as she learns to navigate around.

Other fun stuff she's now doing:
-Wants to sleep with a stuffed animal, or two, or three. She points them out or signs to indicate what she wants.
-She has a favorite blankey she sleeps with and cuddles it at night and when she nurses.
-She says Mama and Dada all of the time, but has now recently added "RaRa" for Roxy and a very close approximation to "Matt" almost getting that "T" sound at the end.
-Her hair is now long enough to pull back in a rubber band....which is basically the only way I can keep it out of her face.
-She is eating LOTS of food, and lots of different foods. She loves food! Just like her mommy!
- She has learned several new signs, including: ball, shoes, music, and car.
-She shakes her head yes and no, and she means it!!!
-She knows her nose, eyes, mouth, and ears and can point to them when you ask her to.
-She brings us our shoes when she wants to go outside.
-She now gets her arms moving when she is dancing...and she LOVES to dance!
