Holiday bliss

It was a wonderful holiday season, and as with most people, it is one of my favorite times of the year. We celebrated a fun filled christmas early this year, before Raegan and I headed back for a rare christmas day appearance with my family back in Illinois. It has been 5 years since I was in Illinois for Christmas eve and Christmas day. The traditions reminded me of my child hood, but I also saw it with new eyes.....through Raegan's eyes.

The weather was mostly quite cold. On the day before we left, the snow came! Raegan was thrilled and loved to play in the snow. She has asked for the snow several times since we have been back in California. She enjoyed helping her Papa shovel snow and clear off the cars. She always said she wasn't cold and had to be convinced to come in to warm up. Hopefully, California will pull out of this record drought and we can take her up to the foot hills for some snow before winter is over!

Now that the holidays are over, I'm counting down the days until maternity leave.....too many to go!
