Again, a bit of a late post, but that is how it goes these days! Owen is now my little speedy crawler. He gets around the house so fast! This is partly due to crawling races with sissy....he thinks these are hilarious! He is eating lots of different foods, and is a good sport even about the veggies! He can stand on his own for several seconds, and likes to stand up and hold on to toys to play. He is starting to do some sign language.....milk, dog, and all done. He says some words sporadically, but none as consistent as he says "mama." :) He just started having some separation anxiety, and will cry when he realizes I am leaving him. So sad for me. :( It breaks my heart to hear him cry, because he cries so rarely. At his 9 month check up, he is still in the 90+ percentiles for everything! By big boy! At the doctors sissy said, "Please be careful with my baby." She just adores him. Even when she gets too rough with him, I know she doesn't really mean to hurt him. She is so protective of her little brother, and often says, "I look out for him, mama." I know that she does!
Just yesterday, he climbed to a sitting position on his v-tech train. He then was able to stand up and get off by himself too! It won't be long and we will have a walker on our hands! I will be so excited to see him walking. That was a great joy for me when Raegan started walking. I'm starting to think about planning his 1st birthday party. Man, is he going to love the cake! My little eater will surely enjoy that!
