East coast meets west coast

My Aunt Becky and Uncle Tom visited us from the East coast! This is their first visit to see us, as a conference in California brought them all away across the country! It was so great to see them, and we had so much fun while they were here. Raegan welcomed them with open arms too, and we were sad when it was time for them to go. :(

Meg was here for their visit, and since Jasen had to work during the week, I acted as the tour guide. However, I have a horrible sense of direction and only managed to get us lost when we visited the Capital downtown. After eating at a delicious restaurant on the patio, we toured the Capital building where Tom and Becky were able to see the House and Senate in action, and where I managed to walk laps around the building chasing down a toddler. :) Raegan loved all of the open space! We also went to one of the Museum gift shops...and did not tour the actual Museum....just how I like it! We finished the day by hitting an amazing Gellateria that was so good we had to get seconds! ;)

We hung out at the house while also hitting a few of my other local favorite eateries. The weather happened to be gorgeous while they were here, so eating outside was great! Jasen grilled up some barbecue for one of the nights also, and we enjoyed the weather outside.

It was great to see them, and we hope they come back to see us again soon! :) Maybe some day we will make it to the east coast for a visit!
