February Frenzy

Well, we weathered yet another flu, but unfortunately my parents were here when Raegan had a very bad case of it. Mom and Dad both subsequently ended up getting some version of that virus, after they left. It has been a hectic last few weeks with flu after flu hitting our family. Hopefully we are now DONE for the season. It was still a fun visit, and we made the best of it! I have to say it was nice having some extra help caring for Raegan who was quite miserable and couldn't sleep (which means mommy also wasn't sleeping). I can always count on my parents to keep a positive outlook even in difficult times.

In better news.....the weather has been February Fabulous! I say that because typically February is a great month for us, weather wise.....and then comes March and April with cold, and wind, and rain. The rain we need, but the wind and the cold I can do without!

We have been enjoying the sunshine, and even went up to a lake and camp groups over the weekend. Raegan was so excited to go, she was smiling the whole 1 hour drive up there. She could spend hours playing by the lake shore and throwing rocks in the water. It was nice to be outside in the sun, and be healthy! Raegan also tried some fishing. I thought for sure that after she didn't catch one in 10 seconds that she would be done with it, but she was determined! She was in it for the fish dinner.....unfortunately she did not catch one. I tried to explain to her the most important lesson about fishing.....Sometimes you catch one, and sometimes you don't. She really pondered this. :)

I've been feeling pretty well, and counting down (7 more weeks) until I'm officially on maternity leave. I can tell this baby is really growing now, as my appetite has really revved up. Grow baby, grow!
