Summer fun!

It has been a VERY hot summer, and super busy with a new born baby and a crazy 3 year old. But we have managed to still do some fun summer stuff and get out more than I had expected given that Owen is only 2 months old. He is such a calm, sweet, and content baby. He makes it easy to get out and do things! We had a week long visit from Aunt Meg (which included walks, parks, shopping, the library, and lunches), a putt putt birthday party, a going away party, TWO fourth of July parties, some bowling, and just the other day we went to the water park. I get the kids out at least once a week for lunch with a friend, and we go to the park a few times each week as well. We are also swamped with appointments (Owen's and mine) which I manage to drag both of them to. It can be exhausting (packing things up to go, getting them in the car, getting them out of the car, putting the stroller in the car, taking the stroller out, then unloading everything once we are home). One of the moments during my week that I enjoy is driving with them both strapped in their car seats with the air conditioner blasting. It is maybe one of the times during my day I am not sweating. Owen is typically asleep, and Raegan can't go anywhere....it's glorious! Sometimes I just want to keep on driving..... and sometimes I do!
