My Mom and Dad rented a beautiful vacation home in central Oregon (Redmond, OR) and so we made the 8 hour drive to be there for a week vacation! Central Oregon was a bit different that I had expected, it was actually high desert (about 3700 foot elevation). The mountains were beautiful! Unfortunately, I didn't take a whole lot of pictures (maybe because I was too busy changing diapers, feeding, singing songs, rocking, bathing, etc a little girl named Raegan).:) Although Jasen and Matt were rear-ended in our vehicle the first day of the trip (they are okay), we had a really nice time! The house was really great, near Bend, OR which is a really neat town about 30 minutes from Redmond. It boasted organic restaurants and privately owned little shops. We ate on the rooftop of one restaurant that was delicious.....organic food, and even a gluten free menu for Meg, Mom and I. :) The pictures here are of Smith Rock. It was pretty hot that day, so some of us stayed near the river for a hike, while Lindsey and Ben decided to hike the rock. It was a beautiful area, and it is really popular for rock climbing....we saw quite a few! Now Raegan has already visited three states in her nearly four short months- quite the traveler!
