I am back to work! It has been about three weeks now since I went back. We hired an amazing Nanny who I will refer to in all my posts as "Nanny" to respect her privacy. About two weeks before I went back to work, the Nanny began coming to the house, and we implemented a transition plan so that both Raegan and I could be comfortable with the Nanny. The plan payed off and quickly Raegan and I both adored the Nanny. So, off to work I went on my first day, and not even a tear! I was so proud of myself! I focused on happy thoughts, and felt more like myself than I had in months. I reminded myself that it is important for children to learn independence and learn to trust people other than just mommy and daddy. However, the next week did not go so swimmingly. After being away from her, I realized how much I was missing out on and when the next week came around, I didn't want to go back. I am so grateful that I am back part time (three days each week), but by the third day I am sooooo missing my little girl. I do think that it has made me appreciate her more and love my time with her even more. So, I think it is good for all involved.....but it is still hard.
